The AgileX COBOT Magic is a research-grade mobile manipulation system designed for universities, laboratories, and industrial R&D teams working on imitation learning, mobile manipulation, and robotic telepresence. Built on AgileX's TRACER differential-drive chassis, the platform features four robotic arms in a configuration aligned with Mobile ALOHA-style setups—where leader arms are used for demonstration and follower arms execute the learned motions—enabling bimanual and whole-body teleoperation for data collection and policy training. In typical deployments, COBOT Magic is used to record multi-view demonstrations of tasks such as grasping, pick-and-place, and bimanual manipulation, then replay, visualize, and train models on the resulting datasets.

Vision is provided by two wrist cameras and one top-mounted camera, supporting both egocentric hand-level views and scene-level perspectives for manipulation learning. An Orbbec depth camera (0.3–3 m range, RGB and depth streaming) is specified for perception and dataset capture. A 6-DOF arm class with a rated payload of approximately 1.5 kg is referenced in specification materials, reflecting the platform's focus on manipulation research rather than heavy payloads. Platform-level figures include a 100 kg payload rating on the mobile base, approximately 4 hours of runtime, and 1.6 m/s top speed. The software stack includes NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano (8 GB) compute and an end-to-end data pipeline covering collection, replay, visualization, training, and inference.
