- Adds LiDAR to the H2 Brings laser ranging to a humanoid whose standard perception is a binocular camera.
- 3D point cloud for mapping Supplies the distance data that LiDAR-based mapping and localisation rely on.
- Independent of lighting Laser ranging measures distance in dim or uneven light where a camera struggles.
- For research and development Aimed at labs building their own navigation and perception software on the H2.
- Best matched to the H2 EDU Secondary development, which custom LiDAR software needs, is supported on the H2 EDU.
- Fitment confirmed before order Sensor model, mounting and included parts are confirmed against your H2.
Descrição
The standard Unitree H2 sees through a wide-field humanoid binocular camera in its head; LiDAR is not part of its standard sensor set. This package adds one, bringing laser ranging to the H2 for teams whose work needs a 3D point cloud: mapping, localisation, obstacle detection and navigation research.
A camera and a LiDAR answer different questions. The binocular camera gives the H2 a human-like view of the scene; a LiDAR measures distance directly and does not depend on the lighting, which is what LiDAR-based mapping and localisation work is built on. For a full-size humanoid expected to walk through rooms, corridors and labs, that is the gap this package fills.
Putting the point cloud to work means writing your own software against it, and secondary development is supported on the H2 EDU rather than the base H2. If you run a base H2, tell us and we will confirm what the package does on your configuration.
The exact sensor model, mounting position, field of view, range, data interface and what the package contains (housing, bracket, cabling) are confirmed at quote against your H2, before you order.

No. The H2's standard perception is a wide-field binocular camera in its head; this package adds LiDAR.
Direct distance measurement as a 3D point cloud, independent of the lighting, for mapping, localisation, obstacle detection and navigation research.
The sensor model, its field of view and range, and how it mounts to the H2 are confirmed with your quotation, before you order.
Using the LiDAR data in your own software calls for secondary development, which is supported on the H2 EDU and not on the base H2. Tell us which H2 you run and we will confirm what the package does on it.
Your team does. The mounting method and the hardware included are confirmed with the quotation.
