Description
The Unix AI Wanda 2.0 is a full-size, general-purpose wheeled humanoid robot built for real-world service work. This second-generation universal platform pairs a wheeled, full-size torso with dual articulated arms and a sensor-equipped head module, prioritizing stability, runtime, and payload over bipedal locomotion for long shifts on level indoor floors in homes, hotels, and retail spaces.
Manipulation is a core strength. Wanda 2.0 uses 8-DoF arm modules with adaptive grippers and compliant, force-aware control, allowing it to handle delicate and deformable items such as soft foods, textiles, and tableware while working safely near people. A multi-sensor suite combining RGB and stereo vision supports object recognition, scene understanding, grasp-point selection, and voice-led human-robot interaction.
Underpinning its behavior is an embodied-AI stack featuring tactile intelligence (UniTouch) and learned manipulation skills that blend teleoperation training, imitation-learning policies, and task planning to chain long-horizon tasks under supervision. Running perception and control on edge compute with remote fleet management, Wanda 2.0 targets hospitality and housekeeping, household assistance such as dishwashing and laundry sorting, front-of-house reception, and dual-arm manipulation research, with an emphasis on mass-production readiness and deployment at scale.
