Description
The Unitree H2 EDU is the research edition of Unitree's full-size H2 humanoid: the same 182 cm, 31-joint biped, opened up for development with a second onboard computer, secondary development and the SDK, dexterous-hand options and a slot for a high-power AI module, under a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
Standing 182 cm and weighing about 70 kg, the H2 EDU carries 31 degrees of freedom — 6 in each leg, 7 in each arm, 3 in the waist and 2 in the head — on low-inertia, high-speed internal-rotor motors and industrial-grade crossed roller bearings. The arm joints deliver up to 120 N·m and the leg joints 360 N·m, for an arm payload of about 7 kg rated and 15 kg peak. A wide-field binocular camera, an array microphone and a high-power speaker give it vision and voice interaction; a quick-release 15 Ah smart battery runs it for about 3 hours.

Unitree positions the H2 EDU for locomotion, whole-body control and learning research, education and training, embodied-AI development and the exploration of industrial scenarios. Unitree advises keeping a safe distance from the robot in operation, using it at 0–40 °C on firm, dry ground, and understanding the platform's limitations before buying.
The standard Unitree H2 is the same body without the development computer, SDK or hand options. The eight EDU SMART packages differ only in the pair of hands fitted: A Dex1-1 grippers, B Dex3-1, C Dex3-1 Tactile, D Dex5-1, E Dex5-1P Tactile, F BrainCo Revo 2 Basic, G BrainCo Revo 2 Touch, H Inspire RH56DFQ.

The motion-control computer itself is not open.
The quick-release 15 Ah smart battery (0.972 kWh) gives about 3 hours of use. The charger takes 100–240 V and refills it in about 2 hours 40 minutes; the first charge takes the battery out of shipping mode.
