Description
The Unitree H2-D Ultimate L is the visuo-tactile edition of Unitree's wheeled H2-D humanoid. Its two BrainCo Revo 3 U21VT hands combine visual and tactile sensing across the whole palm, resolving forces down to 0.01 N and surface deformations as small as 130 μm, so the grip can adapt to soft, fragile or irregular objects.
Each U21VT has 21 degrees of freedom, four in each of its four fingers and five in the thumb, and grips with up to 70 N or pinches with 20 N, cycling at 3 Hz under a 500 Hz control loop on 12–80 V. With the 20 DoF of the body the robot has 62 in total. A Senyun SHF3L camera on each wrist (25 × 25 × 33.54 mm, under 50 g, 196° horizontal field of view, 1920 × 1536 at 30 fps, rated from −40 to +85 °C) gives a close view of the hand's work and comes with an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor adapter development kit.
The body is the mobile H2-D shared by the Ultimate editions: two 7-DoF arms, a waist pitching through 0–115°, a 2-DoF head and a lift column between 1200 and 1700 mm, on a differential-drive base at up to 1.5 m/s with a LiDAR, a depth camera, two collision sensors and two ultrasonic sensors. A 48 V, 30 Ah (1.44 kWh) battery gives about 5 hours, with battery swap, an automatic charging station or external power. Intel Core i5 and Core i7 computers run on board, with optional NVIDIA Jetson Thor and Core i7 or Jetson Orin NX modules, and the binocular head carries an 8-core CPU and a 10 TOPS NPU.
Where the Ultimate K's Revo 3 U21T senses touch alone and the Ultimate M's WUJI Dexterous Hand 2 carries no tactile sensing, the L adds vision to touch. It suits imitation-learning and tactile-policy research, multimodal dataset collection, the handling of delicate or deformable items, and in-hand checks during fine assembly and inspection. The product photo shows the H2-D body with two-finger grippers; the Ultimate L comes with the two U21VT hands. The H2-D Flagship and the H2-D Standard are listed separately.
