The HIKVISION HM-TD5728T-7/W(B) is a dual-spectrum pan-tilt camera — thermal imaging plus a visible-light zoom camera in one plastic-housed head — fitted as an inspection payload on the Deep Robotics LYNX M20 wheeled quadruped. It is an accessory for the robot, not a robot itself: the M20 supplies its power and control, and the image and camera controls appear on the robot's controller and in its software.

The thermal channel uses a 640 × 512 vanadium-oxide uncooled detector (8–14 μm, NETD below 30 mK) behind a 7 mm F1.0 lens with an 88.5° × 73.2° field of view. It measures temperature in two ranges, −20 °C to 150 °C and 0 °C to 550 °C, to ±2 °C or ±2 % of range — the basis for rounds that check switchgear, cable joints, motors and pipework for hot spots. The visible channel pairs a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor (2688 × 1520) with a 4.8–120 mm lens and a white fill light that reaches 30 m.

The head pans a full 360° and tilts from −90° to 90° at 0.1–30°/s, with 300 preset positions accurate to ±0.1° and eight cruise routes, so a patrol frames the same gauges and panels the same way on every round. It also carries a microphone and speaker, an obstacle-avoidance sensor that works with the robot's own avoidance, and an SD slot for up to 128 GB of local recording.
