Amy is Alpha Robotics' humanoid-style food delivery robot: a 1.5-metre figure with a head, arms and a 13-inch touchscreen on its chest, carrying dishes on two trays held in front of its body. It is built for restaurants, cafés, bars and hotel dining rooms where the robot is meant to be seen and to talk to guests as much as to carry plates.

The trade-off is capacity. The two trays take about 5 kg between them, each 340 × 250 mm, so Amy suits drinks, desserts, single courses and front-of-house errands rather than clearing whole tables. If the job is moving volume from kitchen to table, a multi-tray runner such as the Alpha Panda is the better fit; Amy earns its place in the guest-facing role.

Around the deliveries it works as a greeter. It senses people approaching, plays welcome and promotional messages, introduces dishes, daily specials and set meals by voice, and uses the chest screen for menus, adverts and discount notices. Voice, welcome scripts and on-screen branding can be tailored to the venue.

Navigation uses a 40 m LiDAR with infrared and ultrasonic sensing, at up to 1.5 m/s with ±50 mm positioning, on ordinary flat indoor floors. The ABS-bodied robot weighs 45 kg, runs 8 hours or more per charge from a 15 Ah battery, recharges in 2–3 hours and returns to its charger by itself.
